Slotnick Monuments is a 5th generation monument company, started in 1910. We have been fabricating, manufacturing and selling monuments of all types in our manufacturing plant located in Everett. We offer two locations for our families to visit, Everett and our administrative offices in Framingham. Our main purpose for networking and becoming a member of NGU is to promote our work in the pre need planning for our aging population. We started protecting funds with pre need memorial sales back in the mid 1980’s, allowing families the opportunity to pre pay for their monument, markers and lettering needs from their gross estate, while they still had the funds available before needing Medic-Aide to “kick” in and pay for their nursing home expenses and their personal funds were used up. This part of our business, as the senior population has grown substantially over the last 20 years, has continued to grow. We have found it extremely important to educate our families as so many have no idea this is an allowable and legal way to use their money before it is all gone, as well as a way to save their children from having to deal with the purchase.
