Karen Ceppetelli is the founder and owner of Assurance Tax Relief. She started her own firm in 2001 to help a friend of a friend with her business bookkeeping. The business has continued to help business owners with their bookkeeping and has expanded to include accounting, tax planning, preparation, and tax relief services.
Karen is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. She has extensive experience in personal, partnership, and corporate taxes. Memberships and continued education with various organizations such as the AICPA, Intuit ProAdvisor, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Association of Tax Professionals, and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers allow Karen to stay up to date with current business trends and tax laws.
Karen enjoys teaching with the Center for Women in Enterprise, speaking at SBA, Chamber of Commerce, and other organization events, as well as volunteering for many years with the AARP Tax-Aide Program. She enjoyed her time as a library trustee and continues to enjoy books, horseback riding, wine tasting, and traveling.
