Hello, My name is James Dumont and I am the owner of Custom Handcrafted Woodwork By James Dumont. This started out as a gift idea for my father When I was looking to get him a Christmas gift. I found a wooden flag that could be customized with his name on it. I thought to myself, I can make this instead of buying it and it will mean so much more to him. I fell in love with the process of hand carving the logo for the fire department he has worked at for over two decades and also hand carving his name on it as well, putting it all together and shipping it to him as he lives out of state. After that I decided to turn it into a small business and be able to offer the same thing to other people at a reasonable price. I also ventured into making cutting boards and also furniture pieces as of lately. Each piece is made to order so the customer has the ability to fully customize the piece to their exact liking. We are a veteran owned and operated business.
