Kathy Pehoviak is a Pre-Tirement Coach who helps people design a meaningful, energized next chapter before and after they retire—because stepping away from your full-time career shouldn’t mean stepping away from purpose.
Kathy discovered in her own retirement that TIME is our most valuable asset. And while most of us picture our next 30-ish years as one long commercial for peaceful bliss, the truth is… that only happens with a little planning. (Playing it by ear works for vacations, not decades.)
She helps clients figure out what retirement actually looks like for them—not their neighbor, not their spouse, not the glossy brochure version. Together, you create a clear, doable plan that leads to long-term satisfaction, joy, and that “I’m glad I did this” feeling.
And she’s honest about the tough parts too. The “stuck-ness,” the let-down, that odd moment when you shut the office door for the last time and realize your work identity fit a lot better in your life than it does in that cardboard box you carried out. Kathy helps people move through that with compassion and a steady hand.
Before becoming a Pre-Tirement Coach, Kathy spent a lifetime in service: she was an Air Defense Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, a high school counselor for 28 years, and a coach for college students learning to stand on their own two feet. Across every chapter, she’s helped people navigate change, build confidence, and stay accountable to what they want most.
Now she guides clients through one of life’s biggest transitions—making sure the next chapter isn’t accidental… but intentional, meaningful, and deeply rewarding.
