Every Networking Group USA Chapter…
- Holds a one-hour meeting twice each month
- Shares valuable referral suggestions and opportunities at meetings
- Welcomes visitors at any time
- Allows one member per professional category (only one electrician per chapter, one residential real estate agent, etc.)
Join a Chapter
To become a member, you must attend three consecutive meetings at the chapter of your choice and then apply via the form below. That chapter’s board will then review your application and check references. (Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee you a seat in Networking Group USA, and you should wait to complete your sponsorship until you’ve been notified of admittance.)If there’s already a member filling your profession’s seat in a chapter, don’t worry—you can start your own chapter.
Maximize Your Membership
- 01
Attendance
Attendance is mandatory for your chapter’s two meetings each month. If you are unable to attend a meeting, please find a substitute to take your place that week. Be sure your substitute is prepared and has all the necessary information to actively participate. Subs can present their own business during your chapter’s introductions if their professional category is not already represented within the chapter. - 02
Preparation
Depending on the size of the chapter, each member will have 45 to 60 seconds to deliver an introduction about their business. It’s important to learn the essential components of an effective introduction and to practice your intro—this ensures presentations are productive and last no longer than the time allotted. Each week, one person in the chapter will also give an eight-minute presentation, and the same premise applies. - 03
Relationship Building
Regular chapter meetings provide the perfect stage to learn more about your fellow members’ businesses each month. However, deeper relationships—the kind that generate referrals—are built through one-to-one meetings and by attending in-person events whenever possible. - 04
Referrals
Day-to-day business will present referral opportunities, but a more effective approach is to budget time each week to prospect for fellow members. By reaching out to your circle of influence and referring fellow chapter members, you’ll earn more referral business in return. - 05
Invite Guests
All chapter members should actively seek fellow professionals to invite to their monthly meetings. The more people introduced to your group, the more opportunities the entire chapter will gain from that exposure.
