A Night to Remember: Celebrating Our NGU Board Members at TopGolf

On June 12th, we brought together over 60 of our incredible board members for a special Networking Group USA Board Member Appreciation event at TopGolf in Canton, MA—and what a night it was!
Our Goal!
The goal of this evening was to gather representatives from each of our 28 NGU chapters to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the work that makes Networking Group USA such a powerful force for business growth. In between swings at the driving range and well-earned laughter, we had meaningful discussions about best practices, member retention, and what it takes to grow a strong, sustainable chapter.
Powerful Testimonial
A standout moment of the night was hearing from Charles Jolin, who shared his chapter's inspiring journey. His group of 10 business professionals had previously been part of another networking organization and were at a crossroads, unsure if they should continue. After attending a Middleboro NGU event, they saw a better path forward and made the decision to join NGU. Since then, they’ve more than doubled in size and rediscovered their energy and purpose. Charles expressed his appreciation for the structure, support, and community NGU provides—testament to what makes our organization unique.
Best Practices Discussion
Brendon Elliot and I led a discussion on elevating meeting effectiveness and keeping our chapters vibrant. We emphasized the value of our Monthly Mastermind Meetings, held the first Monday of every month, as a way for board members to stay connected, share solutions, and fuel chapter growth.
New Website
We also unveiled and celebrated the launch of NGU’s brand-new website. With streamlined tools, polished design, and resources to support chapter leaders and members, the site marks a major milestone in NGU’s evolution.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a TopGolf event without a little friendly competition! Ben Altman helped coordinate the golfing action and handed out some fun prizes to wrap up the night.
This event wasn’t just a thank you—it was a reminder of the passion, collaboration, and momentum we’re building across NGU. We’re excited to carry this energy into the fall, when we’ll host a network-wide event open to all members. Stay tuned—big things are coming!
